Guide Communicator Support Worker

Salary: £11.85 per hour plus paid travel expenses (45p per mile)

Full training is provided, so experience in a similar role is not necessary.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Guide Communicator/Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential one to one support to sight-impaired individuals in their homes or community settings to help them navigate daily challenges and enhance their quality of life. There is no personal care or domestic duties required within this role. A full UK driving license and your own transport may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in daily living activities; such as grocery shopping, helping with correspondence and accompany to various appointments.
- Assist with a variety of leisure activities, such as swimming, bowling or walking and so on – no two days will be the same!
- Encourage independent living and provide 1 to 1 support to create a trusting and compassionate relationship
