MySight York is a thriving local charity in York providing a varied range of services that help people live well with sight loss. We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Fundraising and Marketing Officer.
In this role, you will be a vital member of the team, responsible for community, events and corporate fundraising whilst raising the profile of our work via relationship building with key stakeholder’s locally, regionally and nationally.
Working with the Chief Executive you will develop a robust Fundraising and Marketing Strategy whilst increasing awareness of the needs of people with sight loss and the positive difference MySight York make to the lives of blind and partially sighted people, their friends and families.
You must be a good team player who can work well with staff, volunteers and clients but also be able to work on your own initiative to prioritise your workload.
Experience of working with people with sight loss would be an advantage but full Sight Loss Awareness Training will be provided.
