Salary: £19,500- £22,500 per annum
Interview date: Tuesday 5 April 2022

Walthew House is a long established local independent charity supporting people in the Stockport area who have a sight or hearing loss.  The charity is funded mainly through grants from charitable trusts and community fundraising, and has employed a full time paid fundraiser for over 10 years.  In this time we have built strong contacts with grant making trusts and local organisations and now need to appoint someone to maintain and build on this excellent work.  We are looking for someone who can build a strong written case for support, as well as being personable, well organised and willing to work hard to maintain and grow the fundraised income our charity relies on.  The post holder will report to and work closely with the recently appointed new post of Fundraising and Income Generation Manager.

This is a varied role, heavily reliant on the support of volunteers and involving significant out of hours commitment, for which time off in lieu is given.  It presents a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to develop a career in fundraising to gain experience in a wide range of fundraising activities with a respected charity providing practical services for local people.

Application is by CV and letter of application.  There is no application form.  We welcome enquiries and are encouraging candidates to visit to see our work at first hand.
