Community Development and Technology Support Worker

Salary: £24,000 per annum, pro rata

Through funding from Kirklees Council our Do Something Now project aims to take Outlookers services directly to the heart of local communities across Kirklees by supporting the establishment of local peer support groups and providing individual technology tuition.
The person appointed will be responsible for setting up support networks by working closely with existing local community groups, residents, and other charities. Additionally, the post holder would need to support members, staff, and volunteers with technical support, help and advice and be able to demonstrate the use of equipment that enhances the lives of people living with sight loss.
