About the role

The Communications Officer is an integral role to British Blind Sport (BBS). The role is responsible for raising awareness of the organisation as well as creating a strong relationship with the BBS membership and our external partners. The successful candidate will oversee all marketing and communications including promoting services and wider opportunities of interest to people living with sight loss. The role is responsible for managing the BBS website and social media platforms, communicating with our members and producing our biannual magazine, monthly newsletter and campaigns. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of effective internal communication channels. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a national role and be a part of a growing and high-performing charity.
