The law firm Russell-Cooke works with Visionary to provide a free telephone helpline for Visionary members. The helpline allows members to have a short telephone conversation with a legal professional on issues relating to running a charity, such as:
- Contracting and collaboration
- Data Protection
- Employment / HR
- Fundraising
- Governance
- Mergers
- Leases and Property
- Legal Structures and charitable status
- Safeguarding
Opening times
The helpline is open from 09:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

How it works
In the first instance when you contact Russell-Cooke, your enquiry will be dealt with by an executive assistant, who will circulate it to solicitors in Russell-Cooke’s Charity and Social Business team. You will then be contacted directly by a solicitor to discuss your enquiry, usually within 1 – 3 working days.
