World Sight Day 2020
World Sight Day (WSD) is held on the second Thursday of October every year and this year falls on 8 October 2020. It is co-ordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB). This year’s theme is “Hope in Sight”.
The aim of WSD is to focus global attention on eye health, with many of those who mark the day celebrating achievements and advocating for increasing attention towards eye care.
You can get involved too by using IAPB’s WSD Toolkit of key messages, media guidelines, suggested activities and joining in the photo competition.
