Vic Hancock Fell presented a fabulous workshop at the Visionary Annual Conference last year,  we have continued to work with Vic and are delighted to announce our latest benefit for Visionary members and partners of two discounted leadership courses.

Vic has worked in the charity sector for over 15 years, mostly within smaller charities. She has done it all from running an organisation as a volunteer, being a sole fundraiser, designing and delivering programmes and leading on strategy as a small charity Director, Trustee and Chair. In more recent years she moved into consultancy and training, specialising in strategic planning, organisational development and capacity building in smaller charities specifically.

Vic said she is really pleased to be partnering with Visionary to offer members a 20% discount on the following two courses which are designed to support small charity leaders who ‘wear all the hats’ at their organisation. Small Charity Essentials is available all year round, there is one cohort of Small Charity Leaders Club each year and it runs from April. Sign ups close early April.

  • Small Charity Essentials is a self paced e-learning course that covers the basics of running an effective small charity. From governance and strategy, to fundraising and finance (and everything in between). Each module takes about  an hour to complete – smash through it in one day, or take your time  – whatever suits your schedule.
  • Small Charity Leaders Club is a live-taught 6 month group programme that covers the same content as Small Charity Essentials (albeit in more detail and with the addition of some brilliant guest speakers!) and combines this with monthly peer support and problem solving groups (think Action Learning Sets butt a bit more chilled).

Both courses also come with a tonne of templates and resources and a private online community hosted in Guild where you can ask questions of me and your peers and get that unconditional support as you navigate the highs and lows of being a small charity leader.

To access this benefit please email Raquel Garrido-Soriano by early April.
