Social Media Forum
Wednesday 6 October 2021
9:00 am to 10:00am
- Do you find social media completely overwhelming?
- Are you looking for new idea for social media?
- Are you good at the basics but would like to do more?
- Do you have skills, expertise and learning you are willing to share?
This new forum hopes to bring all of the above together and we can learn from each other. This new monthly forum will be hosted by Zsuzanna Szabo, Support 4 Sight, and Paul Wroe, Blatchington Court and will create a safe space to bring along queries, advice requests or to shout about your successes. We want to hear it all!
On 6 October we are delighted to be welcoming Elsie and Jo from Motive Agency to share their expert knowledge and experience about using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Elsie and Jo will cover how to measure engagement vs reach, maximising the use of each platform, what makes a good post and the fundamentals of creating an effective social media presence. Thank you to Guide Dogs UK for making this happen!
About Elsie and Jo, Motive Agency
Hi, my name is Elsie. I’ve been with Motive for six months now as their Marketing Account Manager and I deal with all things social media for various clients. Instagram is my speciality but I work across all social platforms. I have a first class degree in media and marketing and my background is social based. In the most recent campaign I created and managed for the Guide Dogs we saw over 25,000 views to the website landing page which was driven by socials such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. I enjoy all things creative and feel passionate about utilising social media to drive businesses to their full potential.
Hello! My name is Jo and I have recently joined Motive Agency as a Social Media Manager. I work very closely with Elsie and the social media team at Guide Dogs to help improve their brand awareness, reach and engagement. With over 10 years worth of experience working across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, I have worked for a number of high-profile brands and celebrity chefs, including Heston Blumenthal. For the past 6 years, I have worked for Jamie Oliver; focusing on promoting his books, TV programmes, and ensuring his YouTube channel worked collaboratively across his social media platforms. In my spare time, I am a parent influencer on Instagram with over 26,000 followers – talking about the realities of motherhood, mental health, and general lifestyle.
