VI Football for under-16s (Oxfordshire)

Summertown Stars AFC is an Oxford based children’s football club that was established in 1974. The club has nearly 500 registered players and runs boys and girls teams for ages from under 8 through to under 18. 

In 2009 they set up a team for visually impaired players (VIP’s).  Their coach, Jo Kalies, is a FA Level 2 qualified coach and is the club’s disability officer. She has successfully put together a small group of visually impaired players that now train on a regular basis.

Summertown Stars  VI Football Team are offering an opportunity for young footballers with a visual impairment to take part in FREE fun based coaching sessions and matches.

Dates: September 12th, October 3rd, November 7th, December 5th

Time: 10am to 12 noon

Location: Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre, Oxford OX4 6JL

Open to Under-16 players of all abilities. Bring suitable clothing and plenty of drinks.
