Last December Angela Tinker and Madeleine Cassidy, Director for Support 4 Sight (Essex), were approached by a casting agent for Dove Shampoo wanting to cast a young blind woman for their TV advert. Madeleine subsequently contacted a number of visually impaired young women in Essex and the company chose Kate Crofts, who works for the local council, to star in the advertisement.
