West Riding Blind Association will be holding an information day at their Parkside Centre, Leeds Road, Outwood, Wakefield WF1 2PN (next to Outwood Library) on
Monday, 20th September from 10.30am to 3.00pm
There will be a wide range of equipment on display including specially adapted games, talking watches and clocks, kitchen equipment, reading and writing aids, electronic magnifiers, talking microwave and some up to the minute new equipment such as a sat nav mobility pack, talking phone and much more.
A representative from RNIB will be available to demonstrate audio description
The event, funded by Wakefield District NHS Healthier Communities Fund, is open to visually impaired people, carers, families, professionals and the general public. For further information please ring 01924 215555.
